Now retired, Shawn Brayman was the founder of PlanPlus Inc. and the CEO of PlanPlus Global, a world-renowned investment and financial planning software provider. 

During a financial services career that spanned over three decades, Mr. Brayman earned a reputation as a well-respected orator and researcher. He has spoken at conferences around the world and earned numerous accolades for his research, including the Best Applied Research Award from the Financial Planning Association and the CFP Board’s Best Research Paper Award from the Academy of Financial Services. 

Mr. Brayman has served on several boards of directors, including for the Financial Planning Association (FPA), the largest association of professional financial planners in the world. In addition to his current role on the board for the Canadian Foundation for Financial Planning™, he is President of the Academy of Financial Services, a nonprofit dedicated to financial services education and research.
