Nola Joorisity

Nola has had a distinguished career spanning over 35 years in academia, private business, and professional associations. Recently retired from the Hill School of Business at the University of Regina, Nola's journey has been one of deep commitment and leadership. 

Her passion for the accounting profession in Canada is evident from her roles as the Director of Education and CEO at the Saskatchewan Institute of Chartered Accountants. She also proudly served as the inaugural chair of the CPA Western School of Business, laying important foundations for the future. 

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Nola has been a vibrant part of her community. She has contributed her time and energy to the Canadian Ski Patrol and the Saskatchewan Roughriders, among other local endeavors. Currently, she serves as the Vice Chair of SaskEnergy and chairs their HR and Safety committee. She is also an External Advisor to the Board of Leith Wheeler Investment Council and a past chair of the Public Employees Pension Plan (PEPP) for Saskatchewan. 

Nola’s academic credentials include Fellow Chartered Professional Accountant, Fellow Chartered Accountant, Chartered Accountant, and Certified Management Accountant designations, as well as a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Saskatchewan. Additionally, she has earned her Chartered Director’s designation.
